The KT-2 transom wheels are externally identical to the KT-1 model. One significant difference is the spring mechanism installed inside the wheel strut, which allows the wheels to be used on uneven surfaces.
The bend of the wheel stand is not decorative, but allows the wheels to be placed in the stowed position just behind the transom (the wheels do not stick out above the boat, do not interfere with control, and do not get tangled in the gear).
The base, which is attached to the transom, is made of 3mm thick steel, due to the fact that during sea trials it was found that the use of a thinner material was impractical (constant deformations under minor loads).
The design of the model is thoughtful as follows: one person, holding the boat with one hand, can use the other hand (one) to move the wheel to the working or stowed position (no third hand is needed to insert clamps, stoppers, etc.)
