This locking design allows the wheels to be stored as compactly as possible when not in use, and the boat can be packed without removing them. The base, which attaches to the transom, is made of 3mm steel. This prevents deformation even under heavy loads. The base is identical for the KT-1, KT-2, KT-4, and KT-5 models, allowing for modifications without drilling additional holes in the transom, or even without changing the base itself. The wheel stand, made of 30x30 profile pipe, has a groove system that allows for quick installation, removal, and adjustment of the operating or stowed position. To ensure anti-corrosion treatment during wheel manufacturing, all components undergo a final surface cleaning in acid galvanic baths. The cleaned parts are then zinc-coated and passivated. A polymer coating is then applied to the outer surface and baked. Thanks to the clever design, you can hold the boat with one hand while switching the wheel between working and touring positions with the other.
