The FASTEN Ta221 tilt-and-pan unit is designed to replace the Af221 adapter, expanding its functionality. This replacement adds another degree of freedom—the horizontal tilt of the mounted accessory.
When used in conjunction with the Tt tilt mechanism or Ex extension, the Ta221 unit can be used to create more complex, combined structures using a lock and aluminum tubing. It is used to install a pipe joint into the lock to create a variety of structures, such as awnings, targas, or handrails.
The tilt and turn unit is equipped with a rubber seal to protect against dust and dirt deposits.
