The AquaStar F-215FFD is a single-seater rowboat. This model is made of reinforced PVC with a density of 750 grams per square meter. This fabric is extremely difficult to pierce with a hook or burn with a cigarette, and reeds and other objects will not damage it. The boat's frame is fully welded, extending its lifespan.
The AquaStar F-215FFD consists of two pressurized compartments (sealed tanks separated by airtight baffles)—a forward and aft compartment, each 26 cm in diameter. The baffles between the compartments are of a bag-like design. If one of the boat's compartments is punctured, the bag-shaped baffles are deployed in the direction of the breach. This maintains pressure in the damaged compartment, and the boat remains afloat. The boat's deck has a non-slip coating.
The AquaStar F-215FFD is equipped with an FFD deck—a solid, removable, transformable deck that folds and unfolds like a clamshell. This makes it very quick to install and remove. When folded, it takes up minimal space. It completely covers the bottom of the inflatable boat, reinforcing it and making it much more rigid. This deck makes the boat more stable, increases speed (approximately 2 km/h), and is much more comfortable to ride. It is made of 6mm plywood. Although the FFD deck is thinner than the FSD deck, it can easily accommodate a folding chair and even jump on it. This is due to the large deck surface resting on the water. One side of the deck is smooth, and the other is rough. The deck should be installed with the rough side facing up. This special anti-slip coating. Spray makes the deck very slippery, and the rough surface prevents a person from slipping, which is the main cause of injuries when falling in a boat and falling out.
