Updated model 2015!
The AquaStar K-350 is designed to be your companion for fishing or relaxing on the water. It's fast and easy to navigate, boasting enhanced safety and a high speed. It can accommodate up to four passengers.
The wooden bottom is rigid and solid. It consists of four wooden segments (floors) fastened with aluminum fasteners and, when the boat is inflated, forming a single rigid deck. The boat frame is made of very dense, 5-layer reinforced PVC fabric with a material density of 1100 grams per square meter.
The AquaStar K-350 consists of four watertight compartments. Three of these compartments make up the inflatable boat's frame. The fourth watertight compartment is the keelson. The boat is 3.50 m long, 1.75 m wide, and has a diameter of 45 cm. The keelson is inflatable and located between the fabric bottom and the wooden hull. It looks like a tube expanding from stern to bow. Inflating the keelson expands the space between the bottom and the hull, exerting significant tension on the fabric bottom. Due to the deadrise, boats of this type perform much better underway than flat-bottomed boats. The keelson also improves load-bearing capacity, unsinkability, stability, and, most importantly, safety.
A motor with a maximum power rating of 20 hp can be installed. The boat's design includes a fixed transom for the motor with a standard 38 cm foot. A drain valve is mounted at the bottom of the transom, allowing water to be drained without turning the boat over. The end and sides of the transom are protected by pads that prevent mechanical damage caused by motor operation.
All wooden components are made of water-resistant marine plywood produced in Russia. Hardwoods are used throughout, including oak, acacia, and birch. A motor with a maximum power rating of 20 hp can be installed. The boat has a carrying capacity of 550 kg. The boat's carrying capacity is always measured with one deflated cylinder, simulating a breach in the pressurized compartment.
Three handles are attached to the bow, mounted on cones, for easy transport. These attachments make the boat very comfortable to carry, even with two people (front and back). The bow handle is located below the fender for easy transport. It also serves as a towing eye.
The boat is equipped with spray gussets at the corners between the rudder tube and the rear transom. These gussets shed splashing water that occurs when the boat is in reverse or when the throttle is released after planing.
Along the boat's sides, aluminum reinforcements—stringers—are installed internally. These stringers serve several functions: they rigidly support the bottom and strengthen the boat's frame against buckling and bending in waves.
The two benches (also known as seats or stools) are movable. They are attached to special rails (guides) at the top, along the boat's buoyancy tubes. This feature of the boat offers several advantages (for example, if you place all the benches together, you can create a wonderful table). It's especially convenient for people of different heights.
The basic AquaStar K-350 kit includes: 2 packing bags (one for the boat frame, the other for the bottom), a passport, an operating manual, a 6.5-liter foot pump, extended aluminum sealed collapsible oars, stringers, cans, a field repair kit (a tube of glue and a piece of uniform fabric).
All AquaStar boats are certified according to European requirements and standards. The CE marking on the boats confirms their compliance with current European Union directives and their safety for consumers (Directive 94/25/EC, June 16, 1994).
