A rigid-bottomed, five-person inflatable boat. It consists of four hermetic compartments (sealed bladders). Three of these compartments make up the inflatable boat's frame. The fourth compartment is the keelson bladder. Between the compartments, the bulkheads are bag-shaped. If one of the boat's compartments is punctured, the bag-shaped bulkheads are deployed in the direction of the breach. This maintains pressure in the damaged compartment, and the boat remains afloat.
The length is 3.60 m, the width is 1.80 m, and the cylinder diameter is 46 cm. It can be equipped with a motor with a maximum power rating of 20 hp. The boat is made of 5-layer reinforced PVC fabric with a material density of 1200 grams per square meter.
The boat has a minimum load-bearing capacity of 600 kg. Load-bearing capacity is always measured with one deflated cylinder, simulating a breach in the pressurized compartment.
The boat's design includes a fixed transom for the motor with a standard 38 cm foot. The wooden bottom (what the boat's feet stand on) is rigid and solid. It consists of four wooden segments (floors) fastened with aluminum fasteners and, when the boat is inflated, forming a single rigid deck.
The boat bottom is made of PVC fabric with a density of 1200 grams per square meter.
The keelson is an inflatable structure. It looks like a tube expanding from stern to bow. It is located between the fabric bottom and the wooden deck. When the keelson is inflated, the space between the bottom and deck expands, creating significant tension on the fabric deck. Due to the deadrise, boats of this type are much more maneuverable than flat-bottomed boats. The keelson also improves load-carrying capacity, unsinkability, stability, and, most importantly, safety.
Along the bottom, the keelson is protected from mechanical damage by a thick protective beam. A special wide keel beam with a protruding rib is also installed around the perimeter to protect the sides from mechanical damage. The protruding rib cuts off spray while the boat is underway.
Along the boat's sides, aluminum reinforcements—stringers—are installed internally. These stringers serve several functions: they rigidly support the bottom and strengthen the boat's frame against buckling and bending in waves.
The two benches (also known as seats or stools) are movable. They are attached to special rails (guides) at the top, along the boat's buoyancy tubes. This feature of the boat offers several advantages (for example, if you place all the benches together, you can create a wonderful table). It's especially convenient for people of different heights.
Seven special handles are attached to the bow, cones, and outer perimeter for easy transportation. These attachments make the boat very comfortable to carry, even with two people (front and back). The bow handle is located below the fender for easy transportation and also serves as a towing eye. Two more towing eyes are located on the sides. When towing, the tow rope is fed through three attachment points and secured to the tugboat. This distributes the load evenly and prevents damage to the boat during towing.
The boat is equipped with spray gussets at the corners between the rudder tube and the rear transom. These gussets shed splashing water that occurs when the boat is in reverse or when the throttle is released after planing.
A drain valve is mounted at the bottom of the transom, allowing water to be drained without capsizing the boat. The transom's end and sides are protected by pads. These pads prevent mechanical damage caused by motor operation.
All wooden elements are made from water-resistant marine plywood produced in Russia. Hardwoods are used throughout, including oak, acacia, and birch.
The boat weighs 68 kg.
The basic kit includes: 2 packing bags (one for the boat frame, the other for the bottom), passport, operating instructions, 6.5-liter foot pump, extended aluminum sealed collapsible oars, stringers, cans, a field repair kit (a tube of glue and a piece of uniform fabric).
This model of our boats is officially registered with the Ukrainian Shipping Register, meaning it has passed all tests. It has a small craft certificate.
