Updated model 2015!
The AquaStar K-370 isn't just a professional, high-speed, and highly safe inflatable boat; it's also a boat you can't imagine a day on the water without. It's so attractive and practical that once you've tried it, you'll never want to miss out on this pleasure again.
The boat has an excellent load-bearing capacity of at least 620 kg. It is made of 5-layer, durable, reinforced PVC fabric with a material density of 1100 grams per square meter. Load-bearing capacity is always measured with one deflated cylinder, simulating a puncture of the pressurized compartment. The wooden bottom (what the boat's feet stand on) is rigid and solid. It consists of four wooden segments (sole), fastened with aluminum locks and, when the boat is inflated, forming a single rigid deck.
The AquaStar K-370 consists of four hermetic compartments (sealed bladders). Three of these compartments make up the inflatable boat's frame. The fourth compartment is the keelson bladder.
Length 3.70 m, width 1.77 m, tube diameter 46 cm. The keelson is inflatable and looks like a tube expanding from stern to bow. The keelson is located between the fabric bottom and the wooden deck. When the keelson is inflated, the space between the bottom and deck expands, exerting significant tension on the fabric bottom. Due to the deadrise, this type of boat performs much better underway than flat-bottomed boats. The keelson also improves load-carrying capacity, unsinkability, stability, and, most importantly, safety.
Along the bottom, the keelson is protected from mechanical damage by a thick protective beam. A special wide keelson beam with a protruding rib is also installed around the perimeter to protect the sides from mechanical damage. The protruding rib cuts off spray while the boat is underway. Along the boat's sides, aluminum reinforcements called stringers are installed inside. The stringers serve several functions: they hold the bottom rigidly and strengthen the boat's frame against buckling and bending in waves.
The two benches (also known as seats or stools) are movable and adjustable. They are attached to special rails above the boat's buoyancy tubes. This feature offers several advantages (for example, if you place all the benches together, you can create a wonderful table). It is especially convenient for people of above-average height. The boat is equipped with spray gussets at the corners, between the buoyancy tube and the transom at the rear. These gussets help to shed splashing water that occurs when the boat is in reverse with the motor running, or when the throttle is released after planing. Seven special handles are attached to the bow, cones, and the outer perimeter for easy transportation. These handles make the boat very comfortable to carry, even with two people (front and back). The bow handle is located below the fender for easy transportation. It also serves as a towing eye. Two more towing eyes are located on the sides. When towing, the tow rope is threaded through three tie-down points and secured to the towing vehicle. This distributes the load evenly, preventing damage to the boat during towing. The AquaStar K-370 features a fixed motor transom with a standard 38 cm foot. It can accommodate a motor with a maximum power rating of 25 hp. A drain valve is mounted at the bottom of the transom, allowing water to be drained without capsizing the boat. The transom end and sides are protected by pads. These pads prevent mechanical damage caused by motor operation. The AquaStar K-370 basic kit includes: two packing bags (one for the boat frame, the other for the bottom), a passport, an operating manual, a 6.5-liter foot pump, extended aluminum sealed collapsible oars, stringers, cans, and a field repair kit (a tube of glue and a piece of uniform fabric).
All AquaStar boats are certified according to European requirements and standards. The CE marking on the boats confirms their compliance with current European Union directives and their safety for consumers (Directive 94/25/EC, June 16, 1994).
